A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF AND WORK
For the past twenty-five years I have immersed myself in painting all aspects of our National Pasttime. Growing up in Detroit my favorite team was the 1968 Tigers and then when I re-located to Chicago, the 1984 Cubs won my heart (and then broke it).
For the past few years my artistic focus has returned to capturing the scenes and characters of baseball's long-ago past.
My medium alternates between acrylic and pastel, transforming into color the world we best remember in black-and-white.
In my 2nd gallery, my work continues to be influenced by all strains of surrealism, leaning towards the social, personal, and political.
